In honor of National Nursing Home Week, Jeanette Wieskus takes a few moments to recall her 32 years of nursing at Maple Lawn Nursing Home and the changes through the years.
Syd Halverson is honored as a Friend of Education at the Fulda Education Association meeting.
A possible burglary was reported in Fulda on Friday, May 8th by Judy Gerber. The items taken and their value were not disclosed at this time as the case remains open and finger prints have been sent to the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension in St. Paul.
Students in Mrs. Joyce Den Hartog’s fifth grade class spent time as volunteers at the Senior Citizen Center meal site this month. The students assisted by carrying plates, cleaning tables, opening doors, and being greeters. On occasion they have played games or entertained with music on the piano.
The work crew of McLaughlin and Schulz began taking up the asphalt form Fulda’s St. Paul Avenue on Tuesday morning.
