Fulda High School FFA held their annual FFA Barnyard on Friday, May 4th, for all students in the Fulda schools.
Classes of students came to visit the barnyard which helps to teach about animals and agriculture in the Fulda Community.
Included in the barnyard were three calves who were each under the age of three weeks. Two were shared by Les Overman and brought in by Alex Wildfeuer. The other is owned by Mrs. Woelber and was chaperoned by Briana Golda.
There were two goats. Bugsby was there, courtesy of Karter Magnussen. The other mother goat was accompanied by her two young kids who spent a bit of time hiding from the students under a vehicle and peering out to watch all of the activity. The trio is owned by Mrs. Woelber. Two dogs were brought in by Alex Wildfeuer (Abby) and Camryn Baumhoefner (Kenzie).
Christian Goedtke brought in a pair of guineas.
Kamryn Chapman encouraged the students to look at three Suffolk sheep.
Tyler Ackerman enjoyed talking to students about the baby chicks and the hens that he brought in for the barnyard.
Leighton Gehl shared his 4-H pigs with the students.
Many questions were asked by the students and they all seemed to enjoy having the opportunity to see animals from the farm and learn about them.
