Eight members were inducted into the Fulda High School chapter of the National Honor Society on Tuesday evening.

Those inductees were Mikala Dierks, Alexis Freese, Kelsey Fuerstenberg, Rebecca Funk, Cassidy Holinka, Massen Kunerth, Brittany Lais, and Hope Stanton. Selection of students to be NHS members is based upon four criteria: scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

The inductees, other NHS members, and family were welcomed to the special ceremony by Fulda High School principal Tyson Walker.

The meanings of scholarship, service, leadership, and character were presented by Breanna Golda, Emma Wehking, Frances Piper and McKenzie Evers, respectively.

A reception followed the induction ceremony.
