Tuesday’s Fulda High School Band Pops Concert featured the music of Video Games and lots of tasty desserts including pies and bars.

Many of those in attendance enjoyed their dessert as the students and their director prepared for the evening’s concert.

Under the direction of Matt Saxman, the Fulda Elementary School Band performed “Concerto for Triangle”, featuring Mr. Grant Harms as the triangle solorist (ahem!). Throughout this song, the students expected  Mr. Harms to play his musical  part. Alas, several things prevented that from happening: shining the triangle, sneezing and blowing his nose, answering a phone call. At last, one band member stepped close to Mr. Harms. As the song came to a close, the student told him it was time to play the triangle!

The Elementary Band’s other songs were Theme and Variations on “Lightly Row”, and “Zombie Stomp”!
