Fulda Elementary School hosted the second annual Color the Students Fun Run/Walk on Friday afternoon, May 18th, at Fulda High School. The event began at 2:10 p.m. for Fulda kindergarten through sixth grade students and any parents, grandparents, other family members and staff who wished to participate.
The Color the Students Fun Run/Walk began with the kindergarten students starting first. They were followed by successive grades at three minute intervals.
Multiple color checkpoints were along the one mile un-timed run/walk route. Colored cornstarch was used to mark the participants as they arrived at each checkpoint.
The Color the Students Fun Run is held to emphasize a healthy lifestyle and just for the fun of it all.
The event was sponsored by the Fulda Community Club.
