“Shipwrecked – Rescued by Jesus” was the theme for the Vacation Bible School held Monday, July 30th through Thursday, August 2nd at First Presbyterian Church, Fulda.
Led by Mary Winter, Shipwrecked – Rescued by Jesus, is a religious education program where kids venture onto an uncharted island. On the island, kids learned to survive and thrive despite the wavy, rocky ride of life.
Through scripture, songs, and many other activities, kids became anchored in the truth that Jesus carries them through all of life’s storms. When you worry…Jesus Rescues. When you’re lonely…Jesus Rescues. When you do wrong…Jesus Rescues. When you’re powerless…Jesus Rescues. When you’re struggling…Jesus Rescues.
The kids were introduced to a new animal each night of VBS and with each animal they learned another way Jesus rescues us in our everyday lives.
