Jerry’s Jottings 8-8-2018

It was rain we got but it wasn’t excessive. It was about right, one inch, thankfully.

We spent the weekend in Minneapolis for a shower and getting measured for clothes for the upcoming wedding for the Grandson. It was a good time but warm. We spent the night at our other son’s house who was in Aruba for a few days. Everything went well and we were home early Sunday night. We were missing the last days of the Nobles County Fair. The Murray County Fair will start next week Wednesday.

The Primary Election is this coming Tuesday where you can decide who will be in the General Election. Your candidate needs your vote now.  By this time next week there will only be a choice between two. If you care, vote in the primary. It’s your earned right.

A grasshopper walks into a bar. The bartender laughs and says, “Hey, we have a drink named after you!”

The grasshopper looks at the bartender, with a look of extreme confusion on his face, and says, “You have a drink called Steve?”

“Men who treat women as helpless and charming playthings deserve women who treat them as delightful and generous bank accounts.”

Have a good week.
