To whom it may concern:
I attended the forum for our candidates for commissioners and sheriff this past Wednesday and found them very informative. Some of them seemed very adamant in what they were saying, some not so.
In regards to the hospital situation, there were only three commissioners on the board at that time that are still on. The rest were elected after the fact so how come people are still blaming our current board of commissioners? The hospital has nothing to do with the problems we are now facing.
As far as the problems with the sheriff’s department, it was his employees who filed a grievance to the commissioners and they were OBLIGATED to have it investigated. The were not picking on him.
I have a full report on Sheriff Telkamp’s credibility in court obtained documents from the Murray County Courthouse depicting that Sheriff Telkamp was less credible and truthful on the stand than the defendant on trial.
Therefore, it put our former county attorney in a bad and awkward position. Therefore, the charge of the complainant must be and hereby dismissed. Also, it states that the court is deeply troubled by the behavior of law enforcement. It also states that the court does not condone the behavior engaged in by law enforcement and it would appear that he is engaging in a pattern of misleading information and behavior.
