The Little Mites, Big Mites and Midgets all had their season-ending tournaments this past week, c
losing the summer on another successful year of baseball. All 3 squads performed well during the week, but none of them came home with a championship. Nonetheless, the season was still successful as all the ball players continued to learn and grow in the game of baseball.
Little Mites
In a win or go home game, the Little Mites played a staunch Heron Lake team whom they had beaten twice in the regular season.
Big Mites
The Big Mites, going 3-4-1 in the regular season, were first matched up with a tough Brewster squad who they had tied and lost by 1 during the season.
Midgets
The Midgets opened their tournament play against the always tough Heron Lake squad. This year proved to be no different as Heron Lake once again defeated the Raiders.
