Kenneth John Evers, 64, resident of Faribault, died in his home on August 18th, 2018, of natural causes. Private services will be held for the family. Arrangements are being completed by the Boldt Funeral Home, Faribault.
Kenneth was born April 15th, 1954, to his parents Alfred and Betty (Beckman) Evers, in Worthington, and grew up on a farm in Fulda, with his two brothers, Keith and Kevin. He spent 30 years working for the State of MN, most of which was for the Minnesota Correctional Facility in Faribault as a grounds supervisor. He was able to retire 9 years ago at the age of 55.
An avid outdoorsman for much of his life, he loved fishing and hunting. He spent a lot of his retirement tending to his yard and grilling out on his beloved brick patio.
He was a great friend and loved by all who knew him, ever ready with a listening ear and free advice. He is survived, loved and missed by his 3 children, Jeremiah Evers, Chelsie Higgins, Zach Evers, and 3 grandchildren Tripp and Harper Higgins, and Stella Evers. He will be missed by all who knew him.
