Fulda Graduating Class of 1943 holds reunion

On June 1, 1943, 39 graduates (13 girls and 26 boys) walked across the stage at Fulda High School and received their diplomas. There are a few of us left to remember that evening 75 years ago.

We were all born in the 1920’s before the Depression Years but we all have memories of those years when we were little kids. We graduated during World War II and have more vivid memories of those years. Within a few days after graduation 10 of our classmates left to serve their country. God watched over them and sent them all back alive and they went on to continue their education. Several of the girls left Fulda to work in defense plants.
