During a Special Fulda City Council meeting held on Thursday evening, September 13th, an extra $10,000 was approved to go toward scoping of the city sewer system.
The company performing the work, Empire Pipe has encountered a few places where tree roots have infiltrated the system and are in need of removal in order to allow the camera to pass through.
Thus far, the camera has not found any areas where the flow is significantly reduced, although they have located areas where work is needed to make repairs to the system.
