A new Bike Fix It Station is now available in Fulda City Park. The station is equipped with basic bike maintenance tools including an air pump. Bicyclists can use the station to prepare for their bike ride or to make repairs along the way.
Tools included on the Bike Fix It Station are Philips and flat head screwdrivers, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8mm Allen wrenches, Headset wrench, Pedal wrench, 8, 9, 10 11mm box wrenches, and tire levelers.
Fulda City Park was chosen as the location for the Bike Fix It Station due to the fact that is a highly visible community asset that is located in the midst of most of Fulda’s residential neighborhoods.
The Bike Fix It Station is on the concrete pad next to the drinking fountain. Two bike racks are also available.
During 2017, Fulda applied for, and received a MnDOT SRTS (Safe Routes to School) Planning Assistance Grant. The grant was used to put in place a Safe Routes to School plan.
