A familiar face will be greeting those at the extension office. Kim Hause has been hired to fill the role of youth development and heading up the 4-H programming.
Hause first became familiar to those in the area when she and her husband owned and operated the Painted Prairie Winery by Dovray. After a short stint in Kansas, they were excited for the opportunity to return to the area. When asked why they returned Kim shared, “This is home to my kids. Kansas was wonderful and taught me there are good people everywhere. With our parents living near the Twin Cities it made sense to be closer to them.”
Working with children is something Hause looks forward and has in fact been serving in that capacity while a para professional at Murray County Central schools and also did a year in Kansas. In addition she is a soccer coach and has been a girl scout leader.
