On Monday morning at Fulda High School seniors McKenzie Evers and Payton Marquardt were crowned Homecoming King and Queen. Evers was crowned by 2017 Homecoming Queen Camryn Baumhoefner. Fulda Schools Principal, Mike Pagel, crowned Marquardt.
Lion’s Club President, Marvin Isder, presented Queen Evers with a bouquet of red roses.
The Coronation began a week of fun activities that will lead up to the Friday night football game between the Coyotes and the Russel Tyler Ruthton Knights. The game begins at 7 p.m.
Evers and Marquardt were chosen from four queen candidates and four king candidates including Evany Luna, Breanna Golda, Emma Wehking and McKenzie Evers, and Samuel Cheadle, Karter Magnussen, Cory Renneke, and Payton Marquardt.
Masters of Ceremonies were Lance Marki and Ngel Ngel. Providing instrumental music before the ceremony and for the processional was Cassidy Holinka.
Junior King was Charlie Winter, son of Mitch and Jenny Winter. Junior Queen was Annilee Burch, daughter of Chris and Melissa Burch.
Seventh grade attendants were Hailey VandenBosch and Logan Gass.
Representing eighth grade were Htoo Han and Noah Vrooman.
Paw Hsi and Nick Freese were ninth grade attendants.
Tenth grade attendants were Taylor Bitker and Braxton Henning.
Junior class attendants were Brittany Lais and Joe Fischer.
Both Fulda High School and Fulda Elementary School have dress-up days to add to the fun of the week.
