NOTICE OF SPECIAL HEARING ON REMAND

Please take notice of the following Special Hearing of the Joint Drainage Authority of Murray and Cottonwood Counties:
Date: Monday, November 19, 2018
Time: 1:00 p.m.
Location: Murray County Commissioner Room, Murray County Government Center (2500 28th Street, Slayton MN 56172)
Purpose: To conduct proceedings on remand from the District Court related to the Appeal of the Establishment of an Improvement to Portions of Murray/Cottonwood Judicial Ditch 3 as ordered by the Board on September 18, 2015. Specifically, the Drainage Authority will receive evidence related to Amendment 2 to the Final Engineer’s Report and the inclusion of a water storage facility to be constructed on the main channel of JD 3 in the northwest quarter of section 36, Holly Township, in Murray County as part of the Improvement project. The Drainage Authority will accept public comment on the above matter and will allow evidence to be submitted to the record on remand.

This notice is being given by publication, posting, and mail as provided in statutes section 103E.325 by posting at least three weeks before the hearing date at the front door of the courthouse in each county by mailing to the DNR, all property owners, and others affected by the drainage project and listed in the detailed survey report and the viewers’ report and by publishing once a week for three successive weeks in a legal newspaper in general circulation in each county affected by the notice.
