John Ramert’s barbecue sauce marketed locally

A new product has been placed on the shelves at Hyvee stores in Worthington and Sioux Falls. It is called Smoke Show Eats Pineapple BBQ.

The tasty sauce is the creation of John Ramert, Sioux Falls, who is the grandson of Myrt Ramert of Fulda.

John grew up in Worthington, and has lived in Sioux Falls since 2014. “A couple of years ago, I purchased a house in Sioux Falls. You know, every man who has a house needs a grill,” John said. “I had a buddy who had bought a wood smoker. You can set up the smoker,  keep it at a low temperature and let it work overnight.  I started trying different recipes and asking friends over to do some taste testing. They said that the Smoke Show Eats Pineapple BBQ was really good.”
