A Christmas wish and much more

“His real wish was to ride an airplane and go see space ships but he got that and much more, including the Disney experience! Make A Wish has thought of everything when it comes to the planning!” shared Tracy Remme on the Aiden Lee, The Strong Little Farmer, Facebook page.

Taken just before Christmas, the Kennedy Space Center and the magical world of Disney was enjoyed in Aiden Remme’s Make A Wish trip. “It was all amazing and full of memories,” Tracy shared. As she said once, “These memories are moments cancer can never take away. This is the reason we fight. We fight for Aiden. We fight for our family. We fight for more memories. This fight is long from over.”

After an evening in the Twin Cities, the Remmes woke up bright and early (2:30 a.m. on December 16) to ready for their limousine ride to the airport. A flight to Orlando was enjoyed, and Aiden and family arrived at Give Kids the World. (GKTW Village is an 84-acre, nonprofit resort in Central Florida that provides weeklong, cost-free vacations to children with life-threatening illnesses and their families.)

They were greeted by very energetic people from GKTW. “We were going to explore outside of Give Kids The World that night but the boys were too excited. Aiden actually said ‘it is my wish day and I don’t want to go to a park, I want to stay here and swim.’ Well, we didn’t swim, but we did some pretty awesome things at the Village!” Tracy added.
