The Fulda High School Band concert was held on Monday evening with the audience delighted with the many different holiday tunes.
The Elementary Band opened the program with Monumental City – Joseph Compello and Christmas Mash-Up (March) – Larry Clark.
Under the direction of Band Instructor Matt Saxman, the Jazz Band performed Santa Rocks the House! – arr. Paul Clarke.
The Junior High Band took to the stage and performed Junkyard Jam – Kevin Mixon, Sleddin’ Hill – David Schaffer, and Jingle Bell Jam – James Pierpont, Arr. – Tom Wallace. They also featured Fantasy on the Crusader’s Hymn (Beautiful Savior) Silesian Folk Melody, Adapted by M. Saxman.
The Senior High Band enjoyed playing Steve Nelson and Jack Rollings’ Frosty the Snow Man – arr. John Edmondson and Yule Play the Classics – arr. Mark Williams. They also performed A Christmas Fantasia which included Ukrainian Bell Carol, While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks by Night, and What Child Is This?– arr. John Edmondson, with a trumpet solo by Nolan Heintz.
The program was closed with Christmas Sing-a-Long – arr. James D. Ployhar, for the band with Audience Participation!
