A Holiday of Music was the theme for this year’s Fulda Elementary School Christmas Concert held Monday evening under the direction of Ms. Carolyn Beerman.
Opening the program were the Second and Third Grade students with narrators Sierra Goedtke and Mason Timmerman. Playing instruments for the group were Thaddeus Bray, Kaston CLarke, Laiken Farris, Desmond Hoy, Stella Kor, Brady Madison and Bryce Nielsen.
The 2nd and 3rd graders enjoyed singing “The Season to be Singing”, “Pat-a-Pan”, “Zumba, Zumba”, “Little Drummer Boy” and “It’s Christmas”.
The Elementary Band, under the direction of Mr. Matthew Saxman, played “Christmas Mash-up March” to the delight of all in attendance. Wyatt Meyerann was the narrator.
The kindergarten and first grade classes told the story of “The Magic Sleigh Ride” by Vicki Schuh. Narrators were Grace Gerdes and Samantha Bultman. Song titles included “Jingle Bells”, “Little Snowflake”, “Jolly Old St. Nicholas”, “Hear the Angels Singing”, “Ring the Bells”, “Hear the Angels Singing” and “Hallelu! It’s Christmas”.
Fourth, fifth and sixth grade students closed the program with 4 musical pieces and a recorder ensemble of Jadyn Surma, Irish Holiahan, Sam Goedtke, Olivia Clarke, Aiden Lorenzen, Olivia Wehking, Jared Fischer, Ethan Johnson, Mason Timmerman, Hailey Vanden Bosch, Ethan Fitzgerald, Dalton Dierks, Maida Garcia, Areli Cardenas, Ellie Kremer, Eh Saw Soe, Lindsey Wiener, Audrey Nielsen-Gonzalez, Keylee Steinle, Morgan Ross.
They will perform “Do You Hear What I Hear?”, “The World Sings Merry Christmas”, “Do You Hear” and “A Holiday of Music”.
The Christmas music put everyone in the Holiday spirit.
