A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
February 14, 2017, 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Gunnink, Jens, and Thiner. Also present Aurora Heard and Travis Smith. Excused Absence: Commissioners Gerald Magnus and Glenn Kluis.
MSP to approve Commissioner Thiner as the Chairman pro-tem for the February 14, 2017 meeting.
MSP to approve the agenda as modified.
MSP to approve consent agenda item 1.
MSP to approve an expenditure of $9,993.25 to Len’s Awning and Canvas and $1,750.00 to L & S Electric, Inc. to replace the solar panel curtains on the south side of the Government Center.
MSP to approve purchasing a replacement server in the amount of $9,530.61.
MSP to approve and authorize the Board Chair and County Coordinator sign the Missouri River One Watershed One Plan Memorandum of Agreement.
MSP to approve appointing Commissioner Magnus to the Missouri River One Watershed One Plan and Commissioner Gunnink as the Alternate.
MSP to approve the 2016 feedlot report to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
MSP to appoint Jim Bushena to the Heron Lake Watershed Board.
MSP to approve Karen Finne as the Senior Community Service Employment program employee at the Murray County Museum.
MS to follow the current policy #729 Elected Officials MSRS. Motion failed 2 to 1.
MSP to approve to amending policy #729, Elected Officials MSRS, that Murray County shall contribute 4% of the County Commissioners salary into their individual HCSP account each pay period effective January 1, 2014.
MSP to approve the Commissioner Vouchers for the period of January 29, 2017 to February 11, 2017.
