A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD
July 3, 2018, 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Kluis, Gunnink, Jens, Magnus, and Thiner. Also present Aurora Heard and Travis Smith.
MSP to approve the agenda as modified.
MSP to approve consent agenda item number 1.
MSP to approve ditch contractor bill for Judicial Ditch No. 3 totaling $93.00.
MSP to approve ditch contractor bills for County Ditch No. 68 and Judicial Ditch No. 10 totaling $1,442.50.
MSP to approve payment (first and final) to Ankrum Cabinets & Construction for the Fairgrounds Commercial Building Project as follows: Contract Amount: 28,552.00; Change Order 1: 2,700.00 (approved 6/5/2018); Change Order 2: 153.90 (approved 7/3/2018) totaling $31,405.90.
MSP to approve extending the completion date for the Courts Building Roof project to July 30, 2018.
MSP to approve ditch inspection report for County Ditch No 55.
MSP to approve ditch inspection report for County Ditch No. 29 and Judicial Ditch No. 20.
MSP to approve a letter to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety and to authorize the Board Chair sign the agreement.
MSP to approve and authorize the Board Chair and Auditor/Treasurer sign a purchase agreement with Brett Muecke Trust Agreement dated April 16, 2009, with the purchase price of $87,793.60, to purchase parts of the Southeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 15, Township 106 North Range 41 West in the City of Slayton.
MSP to approve Conditional Use Permit #1350, Woodstock Communications, to erect a telecommunications tower in the agriculture district of the NW ¼, Section 6, Lowville Township with the special conditions as recommended by the Planning Commission.
MSP to approve and authorize the Board Chair sign a contract with Lamar to install Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) advertising on the billboard adjacent to US Highway 59.
MSP to purchase a 2018 Yamaha ATV X-4 Wolverine for the Sheriff’s department.
MSP to accept the resignation of Intermittent Deputy Dale Nelson effective June 30, 2018.
MSP to approve a closed session for labor negotiations on July 17, 2018.
MSP to approve putting recycling on the agenda on Wednesday July 11, 2018..
Open Forum/Public Forum – No members of the public were present.
MSP to approve the Commissioner Vouchers for the period of June 17, 2018 to June 30, 2018.
