The Minnesota State Highway Patrol reported that an accident occurred on Monday, December 31st, 2018, 1:07 p.m., in Murray County on Highway 62 near 290th Avenue. A Chevy Equinox, driven by Rachel Ann Baerg, age 41, Windom, was westbound on Highway 62 when the driver lost control and crossed over the center line. The vehicle was struck by an eastbound Subaru Forester, driven by Margaret Joan Olsem, age 56, Dundee, MN.
Both women were transported to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The roadway was covered with snow and ice.
Responding to the accident were Fulda Police, Fulda Fire Department, Fulda Ambulance, Murray County Sheriff’s Department, and the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
