Annette Kremer receives Rising Stars Award

Annette Kremer, Activities Director at Maple Lawn Senior Care Center, was a recipient of the Rising Stars Award at the Care Providers of Minnesota 71st Annual Convention and Exposition, held on November 18 – 20 at the Mystic Lake Center. She was presented with the award during the opening keynote session of the three-day educational convention for long-term care providers. The theme of this year’s convention and exposition was Purpose and Passion.

The Rising Star Award recognizes the contributions of an employee who is new to their profession – within the last five years – and has made a significant impact in their years of service.

Kremer was selected for the Rising Stars Award “due to the enthusiasm and creativity she brings to her new position as Activities Director” She was one of two recipients who were chosen for the award.

Kremer began working at Maple Lawn Senior Care as an activities assistant in March of 2014 and was promoted to activities director in 2015. She holds a degree in social work and completed the year-long coursework  through Ridgewater College, Willmar, to become certificated by the National Certification Council of Activity Professionals.
