In the 2,100-meter junior high boys’ event, seventh-graders Caleb Appel (14th, 8:35.3) and Zach Kirchner (15th, 8:37.0) finished close to each other, followed by eighth-graders Caleb Ethridge (27th, 9:13.3) and John Olsem (35th, 9:38.6).
After hosting the conference meet on the Slayton Course Monday (October 14), the Warriors will compete in the Section 3A Meet at the Madison Country Club next Thursday, October 24.
