Enjoy listening to the music of Kari (Heisinger) Timmer while eating a wonderful turkey dinner and support the Helping Hands Pregnancy Center.
Kari, the daughter of former Heron Lake residents Wayne and Cheryl Heisinger, will be sharing her vocal talents during the dinner held on Tuesday, November 14, at the American Reformed Church, located at 1720 North Burlington, Worthington.
The dinner begins at 6:15 p.m., and will be followed by a short recap of the year for the Helping Hands Pregnancy Center. Located in Worthington, the center serves women in a multitude of different ways. Director Susan Voehl explained, “We want to give people a chance to be partners into what’s happening here. There are no income guidelines, and mostly, these women need someone to talk to.”
