A four-hit, four-run second inning, highlighted by a booming two-run triple off the bat of senior third baseman Jessica VanWesten, sparked the Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda Coyotes to a 7-3 victory over Madelia at Jackson Friday (April 27) in the first high school girls’ fast-pitch softball game of the new season.

Faith Kazemba pitched a real good game for us, shutting the Blackhawks down in five of the innings.”
