Boys earn four second place finishes at Fairmont Sentinel Relays on Friday 4×800, Cheadle, Spittle, Thier all claim silver medals

A second-place finish by the 4×800-meter relay team, along with a trio of individual silver-medal performances, highlighted Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda’s boys’ track and field efforts in the high-caliber Sentinel Relays in Fairmont last Friday, May 4.

Participating in the seven-team Class A Division for smaller schools, the Coyotes competed favorably in the team standings as they racked up a total of 92.5 points and finished fourth.

St. Clair’s boys (167 points) won Class A. Martin County West was second with 116, followed by Fairmont’s JV (106.5), HLOF (92.5), North Union (87), Mountain Lake Area (76) and Sleepy Eye Unified (36).
