Boys play hard in three tight games on the week

Fulda vs. MCC

The Fulda Boys’ Basketball team welcomed the MCC Rebels to town on January 23rd for the second of two matchups on the season. The Raiders battled well, but once again the Rebels proved to be too much for the Raiders, handing them a 68-53 loss.

Dalton Slinger led the way for the Raiders with 19 points – knocking down 5 3-Pointers. Matthias Kunerth added 16 points and 10 rebounds. Cory Renneke chipped in for 11 points.

Fulda vs. Truman

The Raiders looked to get back to their winning ways by traveling over to Truman for a road test. Some hot shooting in the first half and knocking down a few free throws at the end was enough for the Raiders to survive for a 76-71 victory.

Matthias Kunerth led the way with 27 points and 11 rebounds. Zach Thier added 18 points – 5 3’s – and 4 rebounds. Dalton Slinger contributed 13 points and 5 rebounds.

Fulda vs. Adrian

The Raiders returned home on Tuesday night to face off against the Adrian Dragons. A close back and forth game throughout bounced Adrian’s way, as the Raiders fell 79-76.

Matthias Kunerth led with 22 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 steals. Dalton Slinger added 18 points, while Tyler Madison contributed 11 points and 4 rebounds.
