The Fulda Raider boys golf team took to day 1 of the Section golf meet on Wednesday and came away with a 5th place finish, which unfortunately eliminated them from team contention on day 2. The top four teams advance to day two of the tournament with the chance to advance to the state tournament, and the boys missed the cut by 2 strokes.  WWG is the current leader with a 360, followed by MCC with a 375, Windom with a 387, and Wabasso with a 387.  Our score of 389 was good for 5th place.

Four individual boys will advance to day 2 of the tournament with the hopes of grabbing one of the 5 individual spots at the state tournament.  Cory Renneke 95, Joe Fischer 96, Justin Dierks 98, and Brandon Everett 100 all made the cut as individuals for next Wednesdays tournament.
