Camryn Baumhoefner, daughter of Dan and Becky Baumhoefner, and a junior at Fulda High School, is one of 45 Minnesota 4-H members who will be attending the Presidential Inauguration on Friday, January 20th. This is the first time ever that a delegation from Minnesota 4-H will be attending the Presidential Inauguration.
Baumhoefner was selected to attend through the Minnesota 4-H Citizenship Washington Focus: Presidential Inauguration Program. “This program has been set up for 4-H members to learn the meaning and importance of the democratic process, as well as explore the history of the presidency, the election process and the role of the media. There are other benefits of the program like being able to discover the intricacies of the Executive Branch and learning about careers in politics. Regionally, the delegates will build relationships with other 4-H members from across Minnesota,” Jacquie Lonning, State Program Director, Citizenship and Leadership stated.
