Freshman Megan Bakke and sophomores Chelby Kesteloot and Meline Dernoncourt each ran in the 4,000-meter (2.5 miles) girls’ junior varsity race at Tracy.
No official times were recorded, but Bakke earned an individual award with her sixth-place performance among a field of 51 total finishers. Kesteloot finished 13th and Dernoncourt placed 27th.
Eighth-grader Lily Daniels ran to an impressive 10th place finish (among 67 runners) in the 2,000-meter junior high race, clocking a time of 9:06.4.
Teammates Lindsey Hause (28th overall, 18th team scoring, 10:00.4), Molly Clarke (53rd, 31, 11:22.1), Sophia Nelson (55, 33, 11:36.3) and Courtney Gengler (56, 34, 11:38.6) completed the scoring for the young Warriors, who placed sixth in the team scoring with 124 points (8-18-31-33-34).
