On February 18th, the Raider boys made their way to Westbrook to face off with the Chargers. WWG used great ball movement and dominant play in the paint to blow past the Raider with a final score of 75-36.
Payton Marquardt was the lone Raider in double-digits for scoring with 14 points.
WWG got out to a fast start going up 10-0 before the Raiders got on the board. But WWG continued to show why they are a top team in the conference, as they went on another run to go up 20-6. Tyler Madison was able to score 6 points in the lane off of drives for the Raiders. Marquardt was able to knock down 2 3-pointers, but the Charger defense was too much for the Raiders. WWG forced Fulda to commit 19 total turnovers in the game, which they were able to convert for layups on the other end to extend their lead at half to 49-18.
The second half was much of the same. WWG continued to flex their muscle on defense and got the ball inside whenever they could and they were able to score with no trouble at all. Marquardt was able to leak out after his teammates got the rebound and score a couple of layups, but the Raider offense again wasn’t there, much to the credit of the Chargers. The final score was 75-36.
