Maple Lawn Senior Care announced that a former employee has been charged in Murray County with allegedly embezzling over $100,000 over a two year period.
The former employee, Amy Hakeneis of rural Fulda, was an office assistant in charge of Accounts Payable, a position of trust according to Arlan Swanson, Administrator and CEO of Maple Lawn Senior Care. Hakeneis had been employed by Maple Lawn for over seven years.
