Christmas village buildings are always a wonder to behold with their many different shapes and details – whether they are houses, churches, barns, or stores.
At the home of Leo Voss, about 160 Christmas village buildings decorate the living room for the holiday season. “It all started with a garage sale,” Voss stated. “The first set was a tiny little miniature set. You can see what happened from there.”
Voss has created two display stands – one in the shape of a Christmas tree and the other round. The Christmas tree stand has nine varied length shelves and is made of wood.
The center pole of the round display is made from pvc piping and bears the weight of seven wooden shelves. Each one is a section with a coupling.
Cotton fabric on each shelf adds to the snow-like effect of the display while also serving the purpose of hiding a few electrical cords.
