Attention: Residents of The City of Dundee
The City of Dundee Council unanimously voted on Monday, November 4th, 2019 at the regular city council meeting, to change the following ordinance:
92.99 PENALTY.
Violation of any provision of this chapter, including maintaining a nuisance after being notified in writing by first class mail of a violation of any provision of this chapter, shall be a petty misdemeanor and punished as provided in ordinance 10.99.
To state:
92.99 PENALTY.
Violation of any provision of this chapter, including maintaining a nuisance after being notified in writing by first class mail of a violation of any provision of this chapter, shall be a misdemeanor and punished as provided in ordinance 10.99.
**This change allows the maximum penalty for any violation to be up to 90 days in jail and a $1000 fine. Previously, the maximum penalty was a $300 fine.
