Shaking his head in disbelief, Clarence Kremer, Worthington, remarked, “How has this happened to me? That I have been able to live to see 100? It is so remarkable and unbelievable.”

Kremer will be celebrating his 100th birthday on Saturday, May 5th, 2018 with an open house from 1-4 p.m. at The Barn at Corabelle, 1314 16th Street, Iona, Minnesota.

He was born in Mott, North Dakota, on May 5th, 1918 to Bernard and Caroline Kremer. The family lived at Mott until Clarence was five years of age. Because farming had not been kind to the family for some time, they moved to Wilmont, Minnesota. After living there for five years, they moved to a farm north of St. Kilian.

Clarence, along with his brothers, Ivan and Ervin, and Milfred (Stup), and sister  Beverly, attended school at St. Kilian. He graduated from the 8th grade at Worthington Public Schools. During the next few years, he stayed at home to help farm.
