Senior Justin Clarke, a three-time state cross country meet individual qualifier, returns to lead the Warrior boys. Joining him with a ton of varsity experience is junior Maverick Beckmann.
Juniors Isaiah Kathman and Dante Damm, along with sophomores Rylan Engelkes and Ryan Risacher have competed well as junior varsity runners, gaining some varsity-level experience in 2018.
Sophomore Adrian Schwaller and freshman Simon Spittle are also in the mix to crack this year’s varsity and first-year senior Lukas Stapek, who has had success as a distance runner in track, is also a leading cross country prospect this season.
“Justin and Maverick have each had several good seasons in cross country,” praised Coach Damm about his two veterans. “I look for some nice improvement in several other guys as they strive to keep up our tradition of always fielding a competitive boys’ team.”
