With a play on words, Shaina Leinen and Danette VanderBeek have announced that their She-Brews Coffee House will be opening soon at 114 St. Paul Avenue South, in Fulda, Minnesota!
When asked about how the name for the new coffee house, was chosen, both Leinen and VanderBeek smiled, and Leinen replied, “ My husband, Aaron, actually came up with the name. You’ve probably heard the He Brews jokes, so with that in mind, we chose SheBrews because it’s Danette and I.”
For those of you who may not have heard the joke, the story is that there was a couple who were arguing about who should brew their morning coffee. The wife pointed out that the husband should because he was the first to get up. His reply was that she should, because it is her duty to cook and clean.
The wife stoutly replied, “No, you should because the Bible says so!”
Being a religious man, he requested that she show him where the Bible stated that.
Her response was to turn to the book of Hebrews in the New Testament!
