Julie Foote, Market Developer for MVTV Wireless, and Justin Hoffman, county parks supervisor, appeared before the Murray County Commissioners on Thursday afternoon.
Foote was approached last year during the Murray County Fair in regards to offering internet service at county parks for campers.
She has since reached out to Justin Hoffman in regards to this request. A proposal was drawn up with Murray County being responsible for setting up a post (if necessary) and running electricity to it for MVTV Wireless to mount their equipment at Seven Mile Park, Sundquist Park on West Lake Sarah and Swenson Park.
In return, MVTV Wireless will offer wireless hotspot service connection to the MVTV wireless network. They will maintain all of their equipment.
