Fulda High School students in grades 7 to 12 participated in a community service project on Monday afternoon. The project included cleaning lawns around Fulda High School and Fulda Elementary School, picking up trash and debris in the shelter belt around Alex Fisher Field and along U. S. Highway 59, checking to see if branches needed to be removed in Fulda City Park,  organizing sheds at Town and Country Golf Club, and placement of the American flag on flag poles in preparation for the upcoming Memorial Day holiday.

High School principal, Tyson Walker, was proud of the students’ participation in the event which not only helped to clean-up Fulda and areas around the city, but it also helped to  build community pride in work well done.

Students began their work at 11:30 p.m. and worked in supervised groups in each area.
