Plating six runs with a barrage of RBI singles in the third inning Monday (May 21), the Heron Lake-Okabena / Fulda Coyotes claimed a 7-5 victory over Tracy-Milroy-Balaton at Tracy in a non-conference high school baseball game.
The win improved the Coyotes to 5-8 for the season with a scheduled game at St. James to be played on Tuesday, May 22 and the first-round of Section 2A playoff action beginning Thursday, May 24.
More details on HLOF’s two-run victory over the Panthers will be described in next week’s issue of the Fulda Free Press, along with results from the Coyotes’ upcoming tournament games.
