Sparked by a huge 29-point performance from Eli Fest, the Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda Coyotes snapped a five-game losing streak by capturing a 66-57 victory over the Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons in Red Rock Conference high school boys’ basketball action last Tuesday night (January 7) in Okabena.
The Coyotes, who improved to 4-7 overall and 2-2 in the conference with the win, built a 23-13 lead midway through the first half and led 35-24 at halftime.
