An addition was recently completed at the Currie State Bank, Currie. Bank President, Don Hansen said that 1,800 square feet of office space, drive-up facilities, and two bathrooms were added during the expansion project.
“We added four offices which were needed due to the growth of the bank,” Hansen said. “The space was needed and looks very nice.”
Involved in the project wereSchreier Construction, Water’s Edge Plumbing, Creative Tile – Tom Somers, Slayton Building Materials, Mears Electric, Zen’s Plumbing and Heating, Corey Brown, Randy’s Flooring, and Jim’s Carpet Outlet.
The Currie State Bank operates in both Currie, MN, and Okabena, MN. It was first established in February of 1931 at the Currie location. The Okabena office was established in 2016.
Murrayland Agency, which provides real estate and insurance services, is also housed in the Currie State Bank buildings in Currie and Okabena. Additionally, the agency also has offices in Tracy and Slayton, MN.
