Currie’s 4th annual Out of the Darkness Walk is scheduled to be held on Saturday, October 6th. Registration begins at 9 a.m. Those who sign up to walk, or donate to the cause, are part of a quarter of million people in the United State who will participate in American Foundation for Suicide Prevention community walks during 2018.
Committee members who are the organizers of the suicide prevention awareness event are Laura duCharme, Koreen Ziemke, Tony Gregg, Shari Thomas, Tiffany Molitor, Kari Meyer, Jody Illg, Julie Hansen, Susan Sik, and Mary Chelin.
Each committee member’s life has been touched in some way through the suicide of someone who was dear to them.
