Deb Kremer receives Lutheran Social Service Spirit Award

Debra Kremer,  Fulda,  received the prestigious Spirit Award from Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS).  The award honors employees who demonstrate outstanding commitment and dedication to Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota’s vision and mission.

Kremer has been employed with LSS for the past nine years, working at the Fulda Senior Center preparing meals served on-site, and for Meals-On-Wheels.

Kremer has always brought a positive attitude to her position. In fact, last spring when she returned to Fulda from southern climates, she graciously took over the cook’s position which was vacant. “It is such an important program and it benefits so many folks, especially Meals-On-Wheels. And I absolutely love my seniors. They are wonderful,” Kremer stated.

Due to an upcoming move, where Deb and husband, Dale, will become South Dakotans, Kremer has resigned her position at the Fulda Meal Site.  “I’m really going to miss the people,” Kremer shared.

This year, 82 of the 2,300 employees at Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota were selected to receive the award.  Kremer serves in Older Adults Services for Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota.
