ZUMBA- It’s back!! Starting the week of October 1st. Never too late to start … Get 1 free session with a Punch Card! DEFENSIVE DRIVING - The next class is scheduled for Thursday, November 15th at the Fulda City Hall, 12:30 – 8:30. The 8 hour class is $27 prepaid / $30 at the door. The 4 hour class is $18 prepaid / $21 at the door. PREREGISTRATION IS STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. The class will be cancelled if enough people are not preregistered. Please send your payment, including Driver License number to: Fulda Community Ed, 303 N. Lafayette, Fulda, MN 56131. If you last took this class anytime before September of 2009 you are due for a 4 hour refresher. If you’ve recently turned 55 or will by November 15thth you are eligible for the 8 hour class. Winter 2013 Brochure – Work has begun on the Winter 2013 Brochure … Call, email or stop me in the street (or anywhere else!!) with your ideas, comments, etc. Swimming Pool – No update on this unfortunately. I’ve been asked a lot lately about when the pool does re-open if we’ll have winter swimming lessons since the Spring & Summer ones were cancelled and the answer is, “we’ll see.” These lessons require several instructors and life guards. When the time comes we will take a hard look at the situation to see what can be done. Quilting Club – Watch for details on this … Targeting the Winter of 2013. Pilates / Yoga – Due to instructor conflicts, there is no longer a plan to start this up in Fulda. HOWEVER, if you know of someone that may be interested in teaching the class or even being in charge of a class, let me know. There is a possibility of simply putting in a CD and following along. You still get the exercise and you get to enjoy it with others. UPCOMING … Watch for information on Youth and Adult Archery as well as 4-H Adventures.
