A SUMMARY OF THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE MURRAY COUNTY BOARD

October 23, 2012 8:30 a.m. Pursuant to notice, the Murray County Board of Commissioners convened with the following members present: Commissioners Moline, Giese, Magnus, Vickerman and Sauer. Also present Aurora Heard, Heidi Winter, and Paul Malone.

MSP to approve the agenda as modified.

MSP to approve the October 16, 2012 minutes.

MSP with all members of the Board voting their approval to accept the report of the Ditch Committee of the County and Judicial Ditches lying within the County of Murray.

MSP to approve to approve CUP #1284 for Schmitz Grain to construct a Fertilizer Warehouse, a Chemical Warehouse, and a Seed Warehouse, with future construction plans for a Shop, an Office and Scale, Anhydrous Tanks, and two-approximately 300 diameter Grain Piles in the Agricultural Service Business in the General Business District NW1/4 NE1/4 and N1/2 SW1/4 NE1/4, Section 16, Slayton Township based on the recommendation of the Planning Commission. The Board Chair recessed the meeting at 10:30 a.m. The meeting reconvened at 11:39 a.m.

MSP to accept a donation from the John Dirks family for flag poles at the race track. 11:58 a.m. Meeting Recessed 2:24 p.m. Meeting Called back to Order

MSP to approve renewing the 2013 select account agreement without any changes and authorizing the Coordinator to sign any documents related to the 2013 agreement.

MSP to approve accepting the County Veterans Service Community Outreach Grant program dollars in the amount up to $2,298 for community outreach activities as defined by Minnesota Statutes, section 197.608.

MSP to approve accepting federal funds of up to $15,773 for emergency management performance activities with a 50% grant match requirement.

MSP to approve replacing SWHHS current 1.54 Mbps circuit with a 10 Mbps circuit in the amount of $18,000 over 36 months with the amount added to the SWHHS annual rent agreement. The meeting adjourned 2:35 p.m.
