|
Maple Lawn Nursing Home announced today that Arlan Swanson, Administrator/CEO, has been honored with the prestigious “Member of the Year” award from a state-wide association of older adult services professionals. Swanson was recognized at Care Providers of Minnesota’s annual convention, held earlier this month in Minneapolis. The Member of the Year Award is presented to an individual who has made outstanding contributions of time, energy, and expertise to Care Providers of Minnesota and the long-term care profession. The award has been presented annually to a member since 1971. Swanson was chosen due to his commitment to long-term care services at the organizational, Association, and state level. With 25-years experience in the profession, Swanson has led efforts to transform Maple Lawn Nursing Home into a campus, which now includes Mapleview Estates and Maplewood Court Assisted Living. Swanson is active with the Care Providers of Minnesota association, having served on numerous committees over the years. He is presently on their Board of Directors, the CARE PAC Board of Trustees, the Executive Management Committee, and the Long-term Care Imperative steering committee; Swanson also chaired the Legislative forum.
