The Fulda/Murray County Central Warrior wrestling team were right back in action after having a number of matches in the previous week. They traveled to Adrian where they met up with the Tigers of Marshall/Lakeview and the Dragons of Adrian in a triangular match up.

The Warriors first faced off with the Dragons, and the match was all in Adrianís favor. The Dragons were able to jump up 6-0 right away after Alex Fuerstenberg was able to pin Jon Gehl in the 106 pound match. Clayton Hartle was able to give the Warriors their first points, but wasnít enough to tie the match up. Hartle was matched up with Greg Kern in the 113 pound class where Hartle was able to win by decision, 5-0. Adrian came back and was able to get three pins in a row to go up 24-3. Jordan Clarke stopped the streak of pins for the Dragons and was able to have a good match himself with Hunter Heitkamp, but in the end, Heitkamp was able to remain on top by decision, 4-1. Later in the match, Ben Loosbrock was the second wrestler to give the Warriors some points on the board as he wasted no time in pinning Carter Van Dyke in the 160 pound class. Loosbrock did so in 1:34. At the end of the bout with Adrian, Brian Behrends and Arron Benson, both Seniors from MCC, were able gain wins themselves. Behrends competed against Adam Garms in the 220 pound class where Behrends was dominant the whole match. When the final buzzer sounded, Behrends was given the victory by major decision, 16-4. Benson was able to work fairly quickly in his match against Quinn Cleveland in the 285 pound class. Benson rolled Cleveland on his back and was awarded with the pin in 2:14. Despite the final run by the Warriors, they fell to the Dragons, 51-19.

The Dragons took the next match off, which paired up the Warriors and the Tigers from Marshall/Lakeview. That match proved it was down to the wire as both teams were evenly matched.

The Tigers were able to jump up 3-0 right away, but Hartle earned himself a win by fall in 1:59 against Devyn Martzloff to give the Warriors the lead, 6-3. Later, Ben Blanchette in the 126 pound class helped reclaim the lead for the Warriors after Will Gehl fell to Nick Erbes. Blanchette was paired up with Matt Facile where he went on to win by major decision, 17-9. After a couple open weight classes, Jarrett Louwagie and Tanner Nelson had a close match. The two wrestlers in the 152 pound class had to determine a winner with overtime. With one swift move, Louwagie was able to earn the points he needed to win by decision, 8-6 over Nelson. The win by decision gave the Tigers a 22-16 lead, but Ben Loosbrock was given a win by forfeit to tie the match at 22 points. Just as easy as it was to earn the points by forfeit, Brandon Appel of Marshall also received a win by forfeit, putting the Tigers up again, 28-22. As the match winded down, Shay Posthuma was able to get six more points for the Warriors by forfeit, so it came down to the final couple matches. Just like in the match with Adrian, Brian Behrends was able to gain the advantage right away and never let up as the buzzer sounded. Behrends was able to win by major decision, 14-2, which put the Warriors down by only two points, 34-32. Austin Nath and Arron Benson were the deciding factor for which team went home victorious. Despite the efforts from Benson, Nath was a step ahead of Benson and was able to win by fall. Marshall/Lakeview took the team win, 40-32.
